Working Daniel Island
The route is simple: Virginia Ave to I-526, over the Don Holt Bridge with the Cooper River under the van, and off at Clements Ferry Rd or the Daniel Island exit. Twelve minutes on a normal morning. The island is laid out for driving, so Seven Farms Dr, Island Park Dr, Daniel Island Dr and River Landing Dr get the van to any address quickly, and the HOA gate codes and parking rules for the condo buildings are kept on the ticket so the technician is not calling from the curb. A built-in 42-inch side-by-side, fresh-food side climbing to 48 degrees while the freezer holds. We pull the top grille and find the condenser packed with dog hair and the fan motor dragging on a dry bearing. Coil cleaned, fan motor metered and replaced, temperatures logged before we pack up.
Six-burner Wolf range, two burners sparking nonstop even with the knobs off. The spark module is grounding through a damp igniter lead. We isolate the fault with the meter, replace the lead and igniter, and confirm every burner lights clean and shuts off silent.
Townhome closet, stacked front-loader thumping in spin loud enough to hear downstairs. Bearings and spider arm gone. We give the owner one written number at the door, order the assembly, and return with no second trip fee to rebuild it and run a full spin.
